In March 2022, Sun Group officially launched Sun Air, with the ambition of becoming a prestigious, modern, and internationally acclaimed private jet airline, built on the core values of “Safety – Prestige – Distinction.” In Vietnam, Sun Air is the first luxury-segment general aviation airline to offer premium, highly personalized and specialized flight services through two main business lines: private aircraft management services, and charter flights, sightseeing flights, and tourism services by helicopter and seaplane.
Targeting high-net-worth individuals with strong spending power and the most demanding standards—including entrepreneurs, tycoons, individuals, and organizations from both Vietnam and abroad traveling for business, project surveys, medical treatment, sightseeing, tourism, and luxury leisure—Sun Group’s airline also aims to become a global private jet operator. The airline plans to deploy some of the world’s fastest aircraft, striving to lead the race for speed in the skies and minimize travel time on every route.
In the private jet charter segment, Sun Air will develop a wide network of routes connecting affluent travelers to major markets worldwide, using long-range business jets such as the Gulfstream G650ER and Gulfstream G700. These aircraft feature intercontinental range, cutting-edge technology, and ultra-luxurious cabin spaces. They are also the preferred private jets of many of the world’s billionaires, including Elon Musk and Jeff Bezos.
