With a duration of 15 minutes, Awaken Sea takes place daily at 5:00 PM at Kiss Bridge, performed on a rotating basis by 24 athletes who hold multiple world records in Jetski and Flyboard disciplines. Against the breathtaking twilight backdrop of Sunset Town, visitors can marvel at swirling water patterns on the sea surface forming romantic heart shapes, or feel chills as they witness the heroic moment when jetskis carrying the red flag with a yellow star race straight toward the stage. The image of the national flag — a sacred symbol of the nation — is subtly woven into the performances, evoking pride in Vietnam’s land and people, while also expressing national dignity and spirit in the eyes of international audiences.
In addition, the Awaken Sea stage is further “heated up” by live interactions between spectators and a lineup of world-champion athletes performing from heights of tens of meters above the sea. Audiences will once again encounter Kristina Isaeva, the world’s No.1 Flyboard athlete, renowned for her skill of executing three consecutive backflips on the Moscow River — a feat praised by two prestigious international publications, The New York Post and Daily Mail; Thomas Kubik — Flyboard World Cup Champion in Italy 2024 and Guinness World Record holder for the most backflips in one minute; and Lee Sak Yoon — First Prize winner at the UAE competition and third place at the 2024 Flyboard World Cup in Italy, among others.
