Why is The Kiss of the Sea the most worthwhile show to see in Phu Quoc right now?
Performed in the world's largest floating theater, combined with modern technology, the elaborate performances of 60 international artists, and nightly fireworks displays are making The Kiss of the Sea the most popular show currently.
Every evening, the Kiss of the Sea show at Sunset Town attracts hundreds to thousands of tourists, becoming one of the most popular shows in Phu Quoc today.

During the show, the expressions seen in most tourists are radiant eyes, gaping mouths in amazement, and resounding applause to the music. Hayoon, a Korean tourist, couldn't hide her emotion after watching the show: “This is the first time I've seen such a beautiful and emotional show, from suspense to overwhelming happiness. I especially loved the music in the show, where you can join in the dancing and clapping along with the international performers.”

Adriana, a Polish tourist, shared with her family: “The children were incredibly excited by the fire and water effects, 3D mapping, and especially the aerial acrobatics of the international artists. The final fireworks show made our whole family very happy; we hugged each other tightly to remember this moment.”

Not only international tourists, but many Vietnamese tourists also expressed their excitement at seeing such a spectacular and unique show for the first time. The Kiss of the Sea was conceived by Sun Group and brought to Vietnam eight years ago, and staged by ECA2 – a leading multimedia show producer from France with experience organizing over 60 shows worldwide.

According to Jean-Christophe Canizares, CEO of ECA2, The Kiss of the Sea is the largest show in the world staged by his company. Notably, the Kiss of the Sea Theatre holds the title of "World's Largest Open-Air Theatre on the Sea," boasting a 5,000-seat auditorium, a 1,000m² seawater projection screen, and a three-arched stage reaching 26 meters in height—equivalent to a nine-story building.
The Kiss of the Sea is also the first show in Vietnam to feature a fictional storyline about the universe, telling the love story of a young man from Phu Quoc and a guardian of the galaxy who travels to Earth through a cosmic black hole. The power of love and unity helps the main characters overcome the dark forces threatening the safety of Earth and the galaxy. However, the story also contains noble messages about environmental protection and the preservation of rare animals such as the dugong of Phu Quoc.

In international media, The Kiss of the Sea is hailed as the pinnacle of stage production art, combining fire, water, lasers, lighting, 3D mapping, and music… 60 international artists are considered the “soul” of the show, as in all five appearances they overwhelmed the audience with their highly technical dances, elaborate and glamorous costumes and props, and meticulously detailed makeup.
The fusion of technology, music, and performance art transported the audience into a true “blockbuster,” where they themselves became the characters in this captivating and spectacular film.
Immediately following the "Kiss of the Sea" show, an artistic fireworks display was presented featuring over 100 pyrotechnic effects, including high-altitude and low-altitude fireworks, set against the backdrop of timeless songs like "We Are the Champion," "Dancing Queen," and "Mamma Mia." Thousands of luminous fireworks soared across the sky accompanied by vibrant music, bringing the most exhilarating and joyful emotions to the audience. With the addition of the fireworks show, Sunset Town has become the world's first mega-entertainment complex to showcase artistic fireworks nightly.

The romantic love story, the humanistic values of culture, nature, and the people of the island are told captivatingly through the language of performance art and dazzling fireworks every night. It's easy to understand why the "Kiss of the Sea" show has become the most worthwhile show to see on Phu Quoc Island today.
